Bikes

In the world of 2312 style is as important if not more so, than substance. Cars and VTOLs are nice and all, but nothing says "I'm the shit." like a sleek crotch rocket that puts the acceleration of most cars to shame. Below is a smattering of the various motorcycles, choppers and racing bikes that can be purchased and found darting through traffic and being ridden by decadent Corpse as well as biker gangs and similar types. Sure you can always just call a cab or ride the tram-way, but why bother when you can have your own wheels. Easy to conceal and capable of slipping through and into places that most larger vehicles have no chance of fitting into, bikes are more than just a fashion statement or a way to pick up chicks; they're a way of life for many...

MR - Signifies the Maximum Range that the bike can travel in miles on a single power cell, or tank of fuel. Likewise this number can be variable dependant to a large degree on how the vehicle is driven.

TS - Signifies Top Speed that a bike is capable of reaching, given conditions that allow the vehicle's rider to achieve them of course.

BaR - Signifies the Ballistic Armor Rating that the vehicle possesses. This rating doesn't aid in protecting the bike's rider, instead relating primarily to how much punishment the bike itself can withstand before its VP (Vehicle Points) begin to suffer damage..

ws - The Weapon Slots value represents the base number of weapon slots a vehicle comes equipped with while the number in () represents the potential maximum number of weapon slots a vehicle is capable of supporting.

VP - The Vehicle Points are very similar to basic armor points and are only aided by a vehicles BAR (Ballistic Armor Rating). Once a bike's VP are depleted the bike is either destroyed or inert and in some cases may even explode, dependant upon the circumstances involved.

MP - A vehicle's Maneuverability Rating of bikes varies widely, with the higher a value is, denoting a greater degree of maneuverability in terms of turning, jumping and so forth.

HS - The Heat Signature produced by a vehicle generally only comes into play against certain weapon-types, such as smart-rounds, heat seeking weapons and so forth. Likewise the HS comes into play in certain extreme circumstances and denotes how likely the vehicle is to overheat under said conditions. The higher the HS, the easier it is to both see and in some cases target the vehicle in question.

Ar - The Acceleration Rating of a vehicle defines simply that. How fast can it go from standing still to its top rate of speed, given the right conditions of course. The number indicated is representative of increments of 5%, a percentage of how much of its maximum speed a vehicle can achieve each second. (ie. 10 would equal 50% so a vehicle that has a top speed of 150MPH would go from a standstill to 75MPH in 1 second.)
